Nepal Premier League - Season 3

NPL Cricket League is an independent fan guide covering the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Nepal's top T20 cricket tournament. The site tracks schedules, teams, player profiles, points table updates, ticket information, streaming guides, and news for fans following the 2026 season.

History and Vision

The NPL was created to make cricket more professional in Nepal and to build a strong cricket system for players and fans. The first season in 2024 was a big success, with huge crowds and great viewership. The 2026 season will be even bigger, with more coverage and tough competition.

Our goal is to give fans a clear, useful place to follow NPL information, with updated match pages, team pages, player guides, and practical viewing resources as official announcements become available.

Tournament Format

  • Format: T20 cricket — short, exciting matches full of action.
  • Structure: Teams play in a round-robin stage, then the top teams move to the playoffs and final.
  • Season Details (2026): 8 teams are scheduled to play 32 matches at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur from November 17 to December 13, 2026.
  • Player Auction: Players are chosen through an auction system with different categories. In 2026, 150 players took part, forming well-balanced teams.

Strong side from the eastern city with all-round capabilities.

Karnali Yaks

Tough players from the mountain areas known for their resilience.

Each team is owned by well-known business groups and includes local, international, and young players.
