NPL 2026 Live on 29 October: Today's Matches

The afternoon match, Match 5, is the last first-appearance of the season: Kathmandu Gorkhas, captained by Karan KC, finally take the field against Janakpur Bolts at 12:30 PM. Janakpur, the Season 1 champions now led by Harmeet Singh, opened their campaign on Tuesday evening against Karnali. Kathmandu's squad carries the season's biggest overseas name, David Warner, signed for Season 3; whether he plays today is decided when the elevens are named at the toss.

The evening match, Match 6, is a quick rematch of schedules rather than opponents: Karnali Yaks and Biratnagar Kings both play their second match, having opened on Tuesday, Karnali in the evening game and Biratnagar in the afternoon. Karnali's signing of David Miller, announced on 23 October, and Biratnagar's captain Sandeep Lamichhane give the 5:00 PM game two of the most followed names in the league. One of these sides ends the opening round with two wins in reach. The other risks starting the season behind.

After tonight the whole league has a shape: eight teams, six matches, a first points table worth reading. Friday 30 October is a rest day, the only break in the opening fortnight. The full fixture list is on the schedule page and all eight squads are on the teams page.

By tonight the league stage is one round old and the table starts to separate. Each side plays seven league matches, the top four go through to the playoffs on 17–19 November, and the final is on 21 November. Season 3 carries ICC official T20 status, every match is recognised as a List A T20, and DRS is in use for the whole tournament.

Watch Both Matches on TV in Nepal: Himalaya Sports

Television coverage in Nepal runs on Himalaya Sports, the Himalaya Television Network channel that holds the Season 3 linear rights from the Cricket Association of Nepal's 7 September 2026 awards (Rs 14.64 crore). Both of today's matches are live on it, the afternoon game from 12:30 PM and the evening game from 5:00 PM, with studio analysis led by Shoaib Akhtar across the day. The channel is carried on cable and DTH services in Nepal.

No television broadcaster outside Nepal has been announced for Season 3. Viewers in India, Pakistan, the Gulf, Europe and North America watch both matches on the NetTV stream covered next.

Stream Both Matches Worldwide on NetTV

The NetTV Season 3 pass streams every match of the tournament on the app (Android and iPhone) and the web platform, and today's double-header is included in the same purchase as the opener, the playoffs and the final on 21 November. NetTV's worldwide OTT award was worth Rs 18.04 crore. Pass prices: Rs 400 including tax in Nepal, Rs 600 in the Middle East, and US$10 for the USA, Europe, Australia, Japan and Korea. Countries outside those tiers have no published price; check the listing inside the app for your location before paying.

The purchase itself: install the official app or open the web platform, register, select the Nepal Premier League Season 3 package and pay by debit or credit card. Three terms from the pass listings matter. The tournament is a separate purchase, not part of a standard NetTV subscription. Coupons are country-locked and non-refundable. And the pass is not valid on Smart TV or set-top box apps, so use a phone, tablet or computer.

Tickets for 29 October at TU Ground

Both matches today are at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, the only ground used in Season 3, and tickets are sold through eSewa. League prices set by the Cricket Association of Nepal are Rs 500 for general admission and Rs 1,000 for premium seats. The Eliminator and the final are priced at Rs 1,000 general and Rs 2,000 premium, and a season pass covering the tournament was priced at Rs 15,000. Sales opened on eSewa on 22 October.

On a double-header day the two fixtures are sold separately, so check which match, and which date, the listing names before paying. A ground ticket and the NetTV pass are different products: the ticket covers a seat in Kirtipur for one fixture, while the pass streams every match of the season to your phone or computer.

Live Score and Highlights for Both Matches

The free routes cover the full day. The live scores page carries ball-by-ball coverage of the afternoon and evening matches: every wicket and boundary, the run rates and the points table updating as the opening round closes. No account, no charge.

Each match gets its own highlights package on the videos page after it ends, so the afternoon game can be watched back in short form before the evening match starts. With a rest day tomorrow, tonight's highlights are also the natural catch-up point for the whole opening week.

The live-scores page also keeps the full Season 3 schedule, and the points table on this site updates after every verified result. Tonight's two results complete the first full set, so the table visible there tomorrow morning is the season's first honest one.
