Travelling During NPL 2026? How to Keep Watching
Travelling during NPL 2026? NetTV coupons only work in the country they were bought for. What to buy before you go and how to follow scores and highlights.
Season window: October 26–November 21, 2026 · Reviewed 25 October 2026
Travelling During NPL 2026 does not have to mean missing a match, but it does change which pass works. Season 3 runs 26 October to 21 November 2026, with 32 matches at TU Ground, Kirtipur, and the NetTV pass that covers them is locked to the country where it was bought. A coupon bought in Nepal stops working once you cross the border.
This page covers the one rule that matters on the road, what to buy before you leave, the match times in Nepal time, and the free routes for following scores and highlights when a stream is not available.
Quick answer
- Nepal coupon, Nepal only: it will not start a stream abroad.
- Buy for the destination: eSewa sells the pass by viewing region, so buy the country you will be in.
- No refunds: every pass payment is non-refundable, and each coupon is single-use.
- Free fallback: live scores and post-match highlights need no pass at all.
NPL 2026 Match Times for Travellers: NST First
Every Season 3 start time is published in Nepal Standard Time, so anchor on that and convert once. Day matches on double-header days start at 12:30 PM NST, and the evening match starts at 5:00 PM NST on every match day, including the 26 October opener, Lumbini Lions against Sudurpaschim Royals, and the 21 November final. Rest days fall on 30 October and 4, 8 and 11 November. Nepal time is UTC+5:45, which gives the UTC equivalents below. From there, add your own zone offset. The full schedule gives every fixture, and the team pages carry each club's dates.
| Slot | NST (UTC+5:45) | UTC |
|---|---|---|
| Day match (double-header days) | 12:30 PM | 06:45 |
| Evening match (every match day) | 5:00 PM | 11:15 |
Travelling During NPL 2026: Where to Watch From Abroad
NetTV is the worldwide streaming route, but worldwide describes the rights territory, not one borderless coupon. eSewa sells the pass by viewing region, and the terms state the coupon is valid only within the country it was purchased for. The pass follows the place, not the person. If your trip starts after the season opens on 26 October, buy for the destination before you leave, then redeem in the NetTV app or on the web once you arrive. The hub's By device panel lists the device routes that accept the pass.
| Situation | What to do (official terms only) |
|---|---|
| Travelling inside Nepal | Your Nepal coupon (Rs 400) still works, on the NetTV app or web only. |
| Leaving Nepal mid-season | Buy a pass for the destination country before you go. The Nepal coupon will not work abroad. |
| Already abroad with a Nepal coupon | It will not start a stream. Buy the destination country's pass. The first payment is non-refundable. |
| Watching from a hotel or a borrowed device | Sign in to the NetTV app or web with the correct-region pass. Smart TV and set-top box apps are excluded by the coupon terms. |
| No stream available where you are | Follow free live scores and post-match highlights instead of buying a second pass blind. |
NetTV Season Pass: Price, Payment and Key Limits
One pass covers all 32 Season 3 matches. eSewa lists Nepal at Rs 400, the Middle East at Rs 600, and the USA, Europe, Australia, Japan and Korea tier at Rs 1550.17. Other markets are priced inside the NetTV app. Buy through eSewa or the NetTV app, redeem the single-use coupon in the app or on the web, and note the limits: non-refundable, one redemption, locked to the country of purchase, and no Smart TV or set-top box use.
Himalaya Sports TV Status in Season 3
Himalaya Sports carries every match on television inside Nepal, and that is where its coverage ends. No television deal outside Nepal has been announced as of 25 October 2026. FanCode lists Season 3 fixtures but has no announced sublicence, so it is not a Season 3 partner. The free legal routes are live scores and post-match highlights.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a second region pass?
Yes. Buy a pass for the country you will watch in, through eSewa or the NetTV app. Each coupon is single-use and locked to its own country, so a second country needs a second purchase. It does not refund the first coupon.
Does my Nepal pass work abroad?
No. The Nepal coupon is valid for use within Nepal only, so it will not start a stream once you are in another country. Buy the destination country's pass before you travel, or as soon as you arrive.
How else can I follow matches?
Live scores are free on this site, and post-match highlights are free too. Neither needs a pass, a coupon or a particular country.
Can I get a refund?
No. Payments for the NetTV NPL season pass are non-refundable, under both the Nepal terms and the outside-Nepal terms. Check the region before you pay.
Conclusion
Buy for the country you will be in, not the one you left. If the stream cannot follow you, the scores and highlights still can.
